Much Ado About Nothing!

Much Ado About Nothing comes to a close in August 2016, after touring around the gardens and theatres of England

The audiences and feedback were incredible, and MadCaps are hugely proud of everyone involved. Join us next summer - when we will be bringing an equally brilliant Shakespearean comedy to life!

Shakespeare Week!

In celebration of the big guy, MadCaps were asked to deliver some very special language engagement and drama workshops to a primary school in Worcester in March 2016. Each year group was focusing on a different play so our workshop facilitators became experts in:

A Midsummer Night's Dream

Macbeth

Romeo and Juliet

A Comedy of Errors

The Tempest

The students had lots of fun, and so did we!

Sir Derek Jacobi and Richard Clifford Tea Party in aid of Haven Hospices

MadCaps were thrilled to be asked to provide entertainment for the Sir Derek Jacobi and Richard Clifford tea party, on the 14th of February 2016. This event was in aid of Haven Hospice, a wonderful breast cancer charity which supports those going through treatment. To find out more about them visit here.

Scenes performed include those from:

As You Like It

The Importance of being Earnest

An Ideal Husband

A Midsummer Night’s Dream

and a selection of modern monologues and poems…

The day was brilliant, the audience very engaged and the cast ended the day watching the rugby and having Shepard’s pie with the men of the hour.

Huge thanks to Alex and Mark who helped arrange everything and were wonderful hosts.

Murderous Goings On…

A team of four ‘MadCapians’ recently returned to the stunning surroundings of Broadfield Court in Bodenham, Herefordshire to have some fun with an audience of dinner guests!

The evening went off with a bang (pun intended) and ended on a high with some of the audience guessing the guilty culprit! Well done to all involved!

Shakespeare and Flowers…

In October 2015, in the shadow of the beautiful surroundings of the Malvern Hills, MadCaps descended on the Three Counties Showground, in association with the Royal Horticultural Society.

Our mission? To deliver Shakespeare workshops to 9 different schools over a period of 2 days to help the kids discover how and why Shakespeare used natural imagery in his work. We also needed to inspire the students to create a Shakespeare themed garden for the spring show.

We had a brilliant two days and met some really friendly and engaged students who were a delight to work with!

A Midsummer Night's Dream is Over (Sad Face)…

In July & August 2015. MadCaps brought A Midsummer Night's Dream to the gardens and theatres of England.

It. was. brilliant.

The audiences and feedback were incredible, and MadCaps are hugely proud of everyone involved.

Join us next summer - when we will be bringing an equally brilliant Shakespearean comedy to life!
